BLUEGRASS IN THE SCHOOLS

For 25 years, Durango Bluegrass Meltdown has brought quality bluegrass music to schools in La Plata County. The Bluegrass in the Schools program started small with only one band performing bluegrass music at Durango High School. It has since expanded to about a dozen schools in Durango and neighboring communities.

The Durango Bluegrass Meltdown is a 100% volunteer-run festival. We couldn’t do it without our loyal sponsors! Special thanks to all the folks who support us.
