Crooked Measures evolved out of love for Old Time String Band music and the desire to play this classic American genre close to the bone.

They got together through old time jams, porch pickin’ parties and playing contra dances.

Kathryn Lunsford is on fiddle, Nick Lawrence on the clawhammer banjo and Russell Hooten holding down the rhythm on guitar.
